Overview
Kristin Scaduto is a consultant with INCompliance, bringing extensive experience in civil rights compliance, institutional investigations, and higher education policy. She has spent her career helping colleges, universities, and educational organizations navigate the complexities of federal civil rights statutes, including Title IX, Titles VI and VII of the Civil Rights Act, the Americans with Disabilities Act, and Section 504 of the Rehabilitation Act. Kristin supports clients in developing effective policies, addressing discrimination and harassment concerns, and building clear, sustainable compliance practices.
Before joining INCompliance, Kristin served as a Title IX Coordinator and Equity Officer for a large university, where she oversaw all Title IX and sexual misconduct investigations, led campus-wide compliance initiatives, and conducted climate assessments to strengthen prevention efforts. She provided comprehensive training across the university community, managed external investigators on high-level matters, and supported human resources teams on employee discrimination and harassment complaints. Her work also included contributions to Clery Act and Stop Campus Hazing Act compliance and training.
Kristin’s background also includes serving as Resolution Counsel for a national insurer focused on educational institutions. In that role, she managed a substantial portfolio of employment and student-related matters, evaluated coverage and liability issues, participated in mediations and settlement discussions, and developed strategic approaches to resolving complex claims.
